Our Philosophy
The philosophy of Integral Health Options is to increase awareness of the impact of health behaviors on the body in order for individuals to gain knowledge and understanding about their own personal health needs. Becoming healthy and maintaining health is an inside job - learning to trust yourself to know what is needed to achieve the best health outcomes. Integral is defined as being composed of parts that together constitute the whole, essential for completeness. Attending to physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health needs are all essential for whole health. We all want to achieve optimal health for a vibrant, energetic lifestyle and enjoy a good quality of life. And there are options for all of to choose what fits our lifestyle to attain health. What diet or exercise plan that works for one person may not work for another, so it is up to you to learn what healthy habits work for your needs and lifestyle.
Our Mission
The mission of Integral Health Options is to educate, motivate, and support individuals to create their own healthy lifestyle. We do this by educating people to learn about the many factors that impact physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health in order for them to create their own healthy habits for a healthy lifestyle.
  • Physical health is determined by how we take care of or harm our bodies with nutrition; fitness; sleep habits; dental care; alcohol, drug, or smoking addictions. What we eat, drink, and put in our body determines whether we are creating health or disease.
  • Mental health affects how we think, feel, and act, our sense of confidence, well being and self esteem enables us to fully enjoy our day to day life, our relationships and our environment. It determines how we handle stress, relate to others and make choices.
  • Emotional health is the ability to recognize and share a wide range of feelings with others in a constructive way. It is having a positive attitude, self esteem, healthy boundaries, being able to relax and feel good about who you are, feeling and choosing healthy ways to express the full range of emotions we all experience.
  • Spiritual health gives life purpose and meaning through examining our values and beliefs. Unlike organized religion, spirituality consists of more broad concepts such as hope, purpose, peace, and we become more resilient by addressing our spiritual health. Spirituality is deeply personal you discover what works best for you.
